Diese Bescheinigung ist dem Finanzamt vorzulegen und führt in der Regel zur Befreiung von der Umsatzsteuer für die unmittelbar dem Bildungszweck dienenden Leistungen.

Die Befreiungswirkung kann auch auf die für Ihre Einrichtung tätigen freiberuflichen Dozentinnen und Dozenten ausgedehnt werden.

Die Erteilung der Bescheinigung setzt voraus, dass Sie ordnungsgemäß auf einen Beruf - hierzu gehört auch die Weiterbildung in einem Beruf - oder auf eine Prüfung vor einer juristischen Person des öffentlichen Rechts vorbereiten.

Antragsformblätter sind bei der zuständigen Regierung erhältlich und unter "Formulare" abrufbar. Der Antrag ist bei der Regierung einzureichen, in deren Bereich die Maßnahmen ganz oder überwiegend durchgeführt werden.

Dem Antrag beizufügen sind die im Antragsformular genannten Unterlagen.

Es sind keine Fristen zu beachten. Die konkrete Feststellung, für welche Umsatzsteuerfestsetzungen eine für zurückliegende Zeiträume erteilte Bescheinigung bzw. deren Aufhebung von Bedeutung ist, trifft das im Einzelfall zuständige Finanzamt.
